
Jordan Brand is launching a new Air Jordan 1 Retro Low OG "Sail & University Red" inspired by the pair released in 2017 during the Summer of 2026.
Although it is too early to talk about an exact release date, we already have information about a new Air Jordan 1 scheduled to release during 2026. According to multiple industry sources, Nike is launching a new AJ1 in the "Sail & University Red" color scheme during 2026. The release information was shared exclusively by Sneaker Files and zSneakerHeadz.
The new Air Jordan 1 Retro Low OG "Sail / University Red" 2026 comes with product codes HQ6998-100 (Men's SKU), HQ6999-100 (Grade School SKU), HQ6996-100 (Pre-School SKU), HQ6997-100 (Toddler SKU) and the "Sail/Sail/University Red" color scheme. At the moment, the color blocking is not known. However, we already have an image showing a possible color layout. According to several industry sources, the new AJ1 is inspired by the pair with the same name released in 2017. For now, Nike has not confirmed the release rumors. In general, the brand avoids confirming rumors about upcoming limited-edition drops in the near future. Most likely we will find out more details starting during the Summer of 2026.
When is Air Jordan 1 Retro Low OG "Sail / University Red" releasing?
The Air Jordan 1 Retro Low OG "Sail & University Red" is scheduled to release during Fall 2026 on Nike.com and at select Air Jordan Retro partner stores. For now, Nike has not announced an exact release date. However, we already know that the model is part of the Nike Summer 2026 seasonal catalog. As a result, the model will release sometime between April and June 2026. One possible release date is April 11, 2026.
