Jordan Brand is re-releasing the iconic Air Jordan 9 Retro OG, also known as the Air Jordan 9 Retro "Space Jam", during Fall 2026.
UPDATE 04/12/2025: According to zSneakerHeadz, the new Air Jordan 9 Retro OG "Space Jam" is scheduled to release on August 8, 2026. Nike has not yet confirmed this release date. See below for the first images of the new 2026 release.
Although it is too early to discuss an exact release date, we already have information about a new Jordan Brand release from 2026. According to several industry sources, Nike plans to re-release the famous Air Jordan 9 Retro OG "Space Jam" during 2026. The release information was published by zSneakerHeadz and Sneaker Files.
The model comes with product codes HV4794-106 (Men's SKU), HV4574-106 (Grade School SKU) and the "White/True Red/Black" color scheme. The color scheme matches perfectly with the "Space Jam" colorway, which was originally released in 1993, before the debut of the movie with the same name. The colorway was named this way because Michael Jordan wears this model during the movie. The pair was released in 1993, 2002, 2008, 2010 and 2016. For now, the brand has not confirmed the rumors about this release. In general, Nike avoids confirming rumors about upcoming limited-edition releases in the near future. We will most likely find out more details about this release starting during the Summer of 2026.
When is Air Jordan 9 Retro OG “Space Jam” releasing?
The Air Jordan 9 Retro OG "Space Jam" is releasing during Fall 2026 on Nike.com and at select Air Jordan Retro partner stores. For now the brand has not yet announced an exact release date. However we already know that the new model is part of the Nike Fall 2026 seasonal catalog. As a result we expect the new pair to release between July and September.
