Bugs Bunny is very factually a part of the Jordan Brand family, joining the lore early on next to MJ himself as he co-hosted a series of playful commercials. Soon after, the iconic Looney Tunes character took to the big screen as part of Space Jam, immortalizing himself even further in film history.
But now, years after, it seems our furry friend is back in the spotlight as he prepares to star alongside LeBron James in the aforementioned’s sequel. And, as Nike plays the ever-influential benefactor of both athletes, there’s no way they would go without a commemorative release, which led, fittingly, to not just one but a whole capsule. Among it, the Air Jordan 7 paints a very literal portrait of the animation icon, with its uppers replacing leathers for fur and whites for a flattering grey. Worked into the toe cap and every panel behind, the tone leads up to light pinks across the top line — the tongue and side paneling — which fill in for smaller details alongside the reds that dress the branded text and logos along the back.
