JJJJound is collaborating once again with New Balance during Spring 2025, launching together two color schemes of the New Balance 993.
After several teasers and early leaks, New Balance has uploaded official images of the new JJJJound x New Balance 993 "Military Urban Grey / Angora". This pair has received the nickname "Mushroom". It comes accompanied by another colorway, "Military Urban Grey / Black".
The upper of the "Military Urban Grey / Angora" color scheme is entirely brown, featuring grey mesh and dark brown suede panels. The midsole is light-colored, with a sail (slightly yellow) accent on the heel area. The outsole is black as well, just like the inner lining.
The "Mushroom" color scheme is releasing on the JJJJound website on November 16, 2025, as well as on the New Balance website. At the moment, it is not yet known whether the pair will also be available at New Balance Lifestyle partner stores. You can also find JJJJound x New Balance on StockX if you do not manage to secure a pair at retail.
When is the JJJJound x New Balance 993 "Mushroom" releasing?
The JJJJound x New Balance 993 is releasing during Spring 2025 on the JJJJound website. The pair may also be available on the New Balance website. The "Mushroom" color scheme is releasing on January 16, 2025. We do not have details about the other color scheme. However, we already know that the pair is part of the New Balance Spring Summer 2025 seasonal catalog. As a result, we expect the model to release between January and June 2025.
