Plush padding around the ankle and a hook-and-loop closure bring the comfort, while the colour-matched outsole, metal dubrae and woven tongue label give a premium finish. What else could you ask for? For 2022, Nike has lightly aged up the decades-old offering, applying a yellowed, vintage-inspired finish to the midsole. The upper’s leathers, though, opt for a more pristine white shade, which complements not only the laces but the text across the tongue label and heel tab. And much like the Swoosh, strap, and tread, the latter two fixtures flaunt the bold “Columbia Blue,” completing a relatively faithful homage to a much older release.
