Although it is too early to discuss an official release date, we have information about a new special release from the Nike Basketball catalog. According to several internal documents, it appears that Nike is bringing back the famous Nike Air Zoom Flight The Glove "Black / University Red" during Fall 2026. The release information was published exclusively on Sneaker Market.
The pair comes with product code IV6206-010 and the "Black/White/University Red" color scheme. Given the color scheme, it is most likely the "Black & University Red" pair, last released in 2013. The Nike Air Zoom Flight The Glove is known as Gary Payton’s signature model, the Seattle Supersonics player. At the moment, Nike has not yet confirmed the release rumors. In general, the brand avoids confirming rumors about upcoming limited-edition releases in the near future.
When is Nike Air Zoom Flight The Glove “Black / University Red” releasing?
The Nike Air Zoom Flight "The Glove" is releasing during Fall 2026 on Nike.com and at select Nike Basketball partner stores. For now the brand has not yet announced an exact release date. However, we already know that the pair is part of the Nike Fall 2026 seasonal catalog. As a result, we expect the new version to release between July and September.
