After various rumors that the jersey from Brazil’s 1998 national team kit might be returning, Nike has officially confirmed them by publishing the official images. The Nike Brazil 1998 Reissue jersey is part of the Nike Football Summer 2024 season, set to release only at select partner retailers starting from April 2024. No specific release date has been announced yet.
The “Reissue” jersey looks like it was taken straight from the Nike archives. Using the national team’s signature colors, embroidered logos and other vintage details, Nike has managed to create a stitch-for-stitch remake, paying tribute to the iconic jerseys Nike made for the Brazil national team in 1998. The jersey is also meant to celebrate one of the greatest footballers of all time, whose power and speed took the football world by storm that same year – Ronaldo Luís Nazário de Lima, also known as Ronaldo.
The Nike Brazil 1998 Reissue jersey appears in the official images with Ronaldo’s name and number applied on the front and back. The product is set to be available starting April 2024 in a men’s size run from S to 3XL, priced at 599 lei.
When is the Nike Football Brazil World Cup jersey reissue releasing?
The “EX” version of the Nike Brazil 1998 Reissue jersey comes with Ronaldo’s name and number markings. At the same time, Nike is also launching a version that comes without Ronaldo’s name and number markings. It is set to be available starting from April 2024 in a men’s size run from S to 3XL, priced at 599 lei.
The Nike Football Brazil 1998 Reissue jersey is releasing on June 24, 2024 on the Nike SNKRS app. It may also release at Nike Football partner retailers, but for now Nike has not shared any launch details. Although Nike has not yet announced the product price, we can expect it to be 749 lei on the Nike.com website.
In other news, Nike Football has released official images of the 2024 national football team kits.
