Nike Sportswear is celebrating 30 years of the Air Max 95 in 2025, launching a special skateboarding edition in collaboration with Eric Koston.
UPDATE 24/10/2025: Nike has released official images of the new Eric Koston x Nike SB x Nike Air Max 95, and will launch the pair on November 1, 2025 in skate shops, and on November 4, 2025 on the Nike SNKRS app. See below for official images of the new Eric Koston Air Max 95.
UPDATE 02/20/2025: According to multiple industry sources, it appears that the Nike SB Air Max 95 pair scheduled for Winter 2025 is a special project in partnership with Eric Koston. See below an image of the "color scheme" as we wait for more details about the release.
During 2024 the Nike Skateboarding x Nike Air Max 95 collaboration was announced by Complex, and later the “Cactus Flower” colorway was revealed exclusively by us. Continuing this series of releases, we now have information about a new “Obsidian / Speed Yellow” colorway that is launching this year. The release information appeared exclusively on Sneaker Market.
The new pair comes with product code HQ8492-400 and the "Obsidian / Speed Yellow / Midnight Navy / Navy / Summit White / White" color scheme, however the color blocking is not currently known. Still, we already have an image showing a possible color placement. The model may feature a yellow sole and a blue upper. The pair also comes with the "K" tag in the product name. We do not know whether this is a collaboration or a special edition of the model. At the moment the release date for the collaboration is not known. For now Nike has not yet confirmed the release rumors. In general, the brand avoids confirming rumors about limited editions.
When is the Eric Koston x Nike SB x Nike Air Max 95 “Obsidian / Speed Yellow” releasing?
The Eric Koston x Nike SB x Nike Air Max 95 "Obsidian / Speed Yellow" is releasing during Winter 2025 on Nike.com and at select Nike Skateboarding partner stores. At the moment, Nike has not announced an official release date. However, we already know that the model is part of the Nike Holiday 2025 seasonal catalog, so the pair will release between October and December 2025. The model will be available in a unisex size run from 6 US to 15 US, priced at 175 dollars (approximately 849.99 lei). See below a color blocking image while we wait for more photos of the release.
