Do you remember the Nike Football commercials from the 2000s, the ones where Roberto Carlos and Luis Figo were just as competitive as in a championship final? Those ads were most often produced to promote football, and especially the football boots from the Nike Mercurial and Nike Total 90 (T90) collections.
Mercurial boots have always been sleek, but the T90 (Total 90) football boots had a strange, bold design, created for artists on the pitch. Nike eventually discontinued this model, but according to certain rumors, it seems that the T90 football boots will return during the Spring of 2025.
According to ghetefotbal.ro, Nike is set to launch 4 special edition T90 football boot colorways during Spring 2025. We know of at least 4 colorways scheduled to release in 2025. At the moment we do not know which version of the T90 will be released. We expect this to be a launch for the Nike Total 90 III.
The model introduced by Nike during June 2024 does not feature studs. However, we expect Nike Football to also launch Total 90 football boots with studs in the near future. It is very likely that Nike will re-release the football boots during 2025.
The silver pair from the pack uses a metallic silver on the upper. On the exterior, the Nike Swoosh logo appears in black. On the interior, the Nike Total 90 logo appears in white and red. The midsole is white, while the outsole is completely black.
We currently know of four colorways that are releasing during Spring 2025. The color schemes are "Black / Metallic Silver", "Metallic Silver / University Red", "Bordeaux / Metallic Silver" and "Dynamic Yellow / Green Spark".

The first pair of Nike Total 90 boots appeared in 2000. Even though the pair itself was not particularly special, its design elements are still being used today. The most important detail is the side-positioned lacing system, a feature that was also implemented by Adidas Football on the Predator product line shortly after the launch of the Total 90.
Later on, Nike released several versions of the T90 football boots. Notable releases from the Total 90 product line include:
Even though production ended more than 10 years ago, Nike has occasionally released limited-edition models from the Total 90 line. For example, during 2019 they launched a special yellow edition of the Nike T90 Laser.
The information about the release of the jerseys initially appeared on the Footy Headlines website. According to them, Nike is going to release several jerseys themed around certain national teams. Among these are Argentina, Brazil, Croatia, and Italy. See below some of the Nike Total 90 (T90) jerseys inspired by the most famous national football teams.
