Supreme is collaborating with MM6 Maison Margiela for the Spring 2024 collection. The collection consists of a faux fur coat, a varsity jacket, a jacket, a suit and a washed cotton vest, a shirt, two short-sleeve T-shirts, two hooded sweatshirts, a pair of pants, a pair of shorts, a cap, Hanes® T-shirts and socks, a wig, a wallet, a Kryptonite® bike chain and a skateboard. The collection is set to launch on March 28 in Europe (April 30 in Asia).
MM6 is part of Maison Margiela, a luxury fashion house founded by Belgian designer Martin Margiela in 1988. In 1997, MM6 Maison Margiela was established as a relaxed line to complement the house’s avant-garde, deconstructivist designs. Since then, MM6 has evolved as a brand to encompass a wide range of everyday offerings with subtle, subversive accents, all rooted in Margiela’s design philosophy. In an era defined by excessive opulence, Martin Margiela challenged expectations by presenting deconstructed tailoring and frequently using recycled or humble materials.
Following the founder’s spirit of anonymity, MM6 continues to be designed by a collective, directing attention back to the clothes and the ideas that shape them. Margiela’s subversive practices have since been widely adopted, while generations of designers continue to look to the collective as a touchstone of integrity and innovation.
