After several product images were posted online, Adidas confirmed the release through the official images of the Adidas Y-3 Japan.
Adidas and Y-3 (Yohji Yamamoto) are collaborating with the Japan national team, launching a national team kit together for the 2024/25 season.
Japan’s home kit comes in blue, featuring a light blue pattern across the entire surface. The “JFA” crest appears in the center of the jersey, together with Yohji’s Y-3 logo. The jersey is releasing in both a short-sleeve version and a long-sleeve (long-sleeve) version.
Japan’s home match kit is white, featuring a red pattern on the sides. The “JFA” crest appears in the center of the jersey together with the Y-3 logo, just like on the Home kit. The kit will be released in both a short-sleeve version and a long-sleeve version.
The goalkeeper kit is light green, using the brightest color of the three jerseys. The goalkeeper kit comes with the JFA crest and Yohji Yamamoto logo on the chest. Another notable difference is that the goalkeeper jersey is the only one that does not have the famous three Adidas stripes on the shoulders. The goalkeeper jersey is also the only one that has a V-neck collar (V-shaped collar).
When is the Adidas x Y-3 Japan National Team Kit releasing?
The Adidas Y-3 Japan kit is launching during the Summer of 2024 on the Adidas website and at Adidas Football partner stores. The brand has not yet confirmed an official release date. However, we expect the kits to be available starting this Fall.
