Italian clothing and textile specialist Loro Piana is set to collaborate with New Balance during Fall 2024. According to certain sources, the two brands are planning to release a pair of New Balance 990v6 Made in USA during the second half of the year. At the moment, we do not know any details about the "color scheme", color blocking, size run or release date. Loro Piana was founded in 1924 and is currently owned by the French multinational holding and conglomerate LVMH. The company produces high-quality cashmere textiles, luxury clothing for men and women, and also has a division dedicated to interior products. In 2013, the LVMH group acquired 80% of the company, becoming its main shareholder. In 2017, the French group acquired a further 5% of the company.
UPDATE 08/24/2024: The first images of the Loro Piana x New Balance 990v6 have surfaced (via nb.society and sneakers_nstuff on Instagram). The pair will be released in a limited quantity on September 5, 2024 at a suggested retail price of over 1000 dollars, according to multiple industry sources.
When is the Loro Piana x New Balance 990v6 Made in USA releasing?
At the moment the two brands have not announced an official release date for the new collaboration. However, we expect the Loro Piana x New Balance 990v6 Made in USA to release during Fall 2024. Although the launch was initially scheduled for August, the new release date is September 5, 2024.
