Wales Bonner and adidas are collaborating again during Fall 2024, launching a new all-yellow adidas Adios Neftenga together.
After Wales Bonner collaborated on the adidas Samba and SL-76 during Spring 2025, the two brands are launching an Adios Neftenga running shoe. The model is inspired by the 2000s, being one of adidas’ popular silhouettes. The color scheme is inspired by the first prototype colorway of the adidas Adios, in which Haile Gebrselassie ran a 2:03:59 at the Berlin Marathon, breaking his own 2007 record. The word “Neftenga” means “boss” in Ethiopia.
The sneakers come with a yellow mesh and textile upper. The shoe’s stripes are black, while the heel-area detailing is silver. At the front of the yellow and black outsole there is also a bright green “Volt” accent. Branding elements appear on the tongue and insole.
